Rear-wheel drive, 400 horsepower (298 kW), 240-mile (386-km) battery range. Bigger batteries for more range (Lucid says theirs have “best-in-class energy density” and feature “robust fast charging”), plus a twin-motor powertrain with 1,000 hp (746 kW) capability will be optional.

29 speaker audio system with active noise cancellation.

Fitted with hardware necessary for autonomous driving.

The electric car startup recently announced Casa Grande, Arizona (U.S.) as the location of its new factory.


The Air will start undefinedat $60,000, with interior-1170x647multiple options adding upwards of another $40K (excluding the $7,500 Federal tax credit applied to electric cars sold in the U.S.)

At the New York International Auto Show, April 14-23.
