Made in The U.S.A.: 1150 bhp Hypercar

California-based design/engineering house launches its first-ever production car.

Aria has been involved in design projects with Tesla and bespoke tuners like Singer (of customized Porsche 911s fame).  Now it’s turned its expertise to a hybrid, sculpted beauty unveiled at the recent L.A. Auto Show.
The 2-door, mid-engine Aria FXE can hit 60 mph in 3.1 seconds, with a top speed of 220 mph, thanks to a 6.2L supercharged V8 and 7 Speed Dual-Clutch Automatic w/ Manual Shift Mode.
Dual front-mounted electric motors are powered by a 10-kWh battery. Maximum power is 1150 bhp and maximum torque 1316 ft-lbs.

A carbon fiber monocoque chassis, carbon fiber body and 3D-printed metal components keep the curb weight at a low 3,450 lb. (1,565 kg).
The performance package rides on HRE forged center-lock rims, 20” on the front, and 21” on the rear.

Fewer than 400 will be (custom and individually) built, and priced on application, probably at US$1million+ at sale time in 2019.
Irvine, California-based Aria (R&D center in Detroit, Michigan, U.S.) says it’s, “The premier leader of full-range design, engineering and manufacturing solutions for the Transportation, Aerospace, Entertainment and Production Industries.” The company has also produced projects for brands including Honda, Toyota, Ford, GM, Disney, Paramount, and Northrop Grumman.
